The Vacuum Transfer Shuttle is designed to transport air-sensitive specimens from an inert-gas environment, such as a glove box, directly into the vacuum chamber of a characterization instrument like a scanning electron microscope (SEM). It protects the specimen by creating a convenient, air-free environment with a hand pump, & it opens automatically once inside the instrument. Kit includes 4 types of specimen holders to accommodate a wide range of specimens & is made from clear anodized aluminum. It measures 16.3mm in height, 46.6mm in length, & 32.2mm in width when shut, with a total kit weight of 500 grams.
